Restless Heart - Why Does It Have To Be

I haven't chorded the choruses, as the strumming for those is virtually
the same as the intro, which I have tabbed at the end of the song.
Unfortunately...this is one of the most difficult tabs to follow that I've
ever written...sorry guys, this is the easiest way I could write this out.
You could probably simplify the song a lot, so if someone else wants to tab an easier
version, that'd be cool.

D     =   xx0232                             E    =   022100

A     =   x02220                             E/Ab    =   4221xx

F#m = 244222 Bm = x24432

D/F# = 200232 D/A = x00232

E/B = x22100 D(add9) = xx0230

E(2) = xx6454

INTRO (see end of song)

               D E A
Its no secret, somebody waits at home for you.
               D E A
And I know how hard this is for me to do.
          D E/Ab F#m
So if you really believe this love is so wrong,
                 Bm
We don't have to carry on,
    D/F# E/Ab D/A E/B
But still I wonder....

*Similar strumming to intro up to end of chorus*
---------------------------------------------

Why does it have to be wrong or right?
Why does it have to be one way or the other?
Can't somebody please, please tell me.
Why does it have to be black or white?
Why do we have to hurt one to love another?
            D D(add9) D E A
Oh, tell me why........why does it have to be?

               D E A
Can't say that we didn't know where this might lead,
             D E A
And I know I couldn't have been that hard to read.
            D E/Ab F#m
But we both know this is not where you belong,
                   Bm
There's no need to carry on.
        D/F# E/Ab D/A E/B
Oh, but I can't help but wonder....

Why does it have to be wrong or right?
Why does it have to be one way or the other?
Can't somebody please, please tell me.
Why does it have to be black or white?
Why do we have to hurt one to love another?
Oh, tell me why....why does it have to be?

F#m D F#m D/F# E/Ab D/A E/B
INSTRUMENTAL

*Single strum on each chord through this chorus*
------------------------------------------------

    A F#m
Oh, why does it have to be wrong or right?
                                      D
Why does it have to be one way or the other?

Won't somebody please, please tell me.
A F#m
Why does it have to be black or white?
                                    D
Why do we have to hurt one to love another?
            D/F# E/Ab
Oh, tell me why....

E(2) (Back to intro pattern)
Oh tell me, why does it have to be wrong or right?
Why does it have to be one way or the other?
Can't somebody please, please tell me.
Why does it have to be black or white?
Why do we have to hurt one to love another?
Oh, tell me why....(repeat chorus to end of song)

INTRO

The intro to this song is a bit tricky to write the chords for,
so I came up with a way to strum through it...not really easy though!

   ^ = downstroke . = upstroke

The chords shown here (in order of appearance) are:

A, A(add9), A, E/Ab, F#m, F#m7, F#m, E, D, D(add9), D/F#, E/Ab, D/A, E/B, A, A(add9), A5
