Subject: Improved submission: She's No Lady by Lyle Lovett

I'm re-submitting "She's No Lady" to correct a line length problem I
noticed in my previous submission. Although I had limited my lines to 72
characters, I noticed a wrap which destroyed the chord charting. I hope
this is now formatted to maintain character placement.

She's No Lady
 by Lyle Lovett

This may not be exact, it's the way it was presented to me.
It's the only way I know, but if you have it closer, please
let me know!

The chord forms:
               C#m7b5 Bm7
      x x

   A - C#m7b5 - Bm7 - E7
   A - C#m7b5 - Cm7 - Bm7
   A - E7 - A - E7

Verse 1:
              A C#m7b5 Bm7 E7
She hates my mama, she hates my daddy too.
              A C#m7b5 Bm7 E7
She loves to tell me, she hates the things I do.
              A C#m7b5 Cm7 Bm7
She loves to lie beside me, almost every night.
 A E7 A E7
She's no lady, she's my wife.

Verse 2:
              A C#m7b5 Bm7 E7
The preacher asked her, and she said, "I do."
              A C#m7b5 Bm7 E7
The preacher asked me, she says, "He does too!"
              A C#m7b5 Cm7 Bm7
The preacher says, "I pronounce you ninety nine to life!
 A E7 A A7
Man, she's no lady she's your wife!"

Bridge:
           D9
 I can't remember how I met her,
              A Bb A A7
Seems, she's always been hangin' here off my right arm,
           D9
 I can't remember how I ever,
              E7 F E7
Thought that I just couldn't live without a woman's charm.

Verse 3:
           A C#m7b5 Bm7
E7
Now, even though she likes the smell of that French perfume,
          A C#m7b5 Bm7
E7
And even though she walks around in them high-heeled shoes,
       A C#m7b5 Cm7 Bm7
All I know is that I'm the one that pays the price,
 A E7 A A7
Man, she's no lady, she's my wife.

Repeat Bridge and Verse 1 to close!
