You should put a capo on the fourth fret. This song is in the key of B, which should
make the harmonica in the key of E. I don't have a harmonica in that key, but thats what it
should be. You can also play this song with a capo on the second fret and replacing the G
and G7 with A and A7, C/C7 with D/D7, and D with E which I listed on a different
"thingy" above. It is recorded with the capo on the fourth fret, but I think it's got a little
more bite when played on the second fret. The chord progression is simple. All Fred Eaglesmith
does during the verses and between verses/chorus is a double strum switching back and forth
between the G and G7. He doesn't play C7 after C, but it sounds good anyway. Same
concept as the G/G7 so I'm not going to write it down. Without further ado, here it is. I'm sorry
the chords are a little bit off. I can't seem to get them right.

G G7 G G7
Streak of lightning coming down the highway
G G7 G G7
Turn around and watch it go
G G7 G G7
Switch on the lights, put on the highbeams
G G7 G G7
Better find a preacher on the radio

Chorus:
C
I like to drive at 105, its just how fast i got to go
G G7 G G7 G G7 G G7
I got the gears and i got the motor, aint no reason to go slow
C C7
And i like the speed i like the motion, I like the rockin machine
G G7 GG7G G7 D G
I like to drive at 105, better hurry up if you wanna catch me

Neon sign flashin by like something in your eye
Elvis on the radio almost makes you cry
Flashing lights in the rearview you don't pay 'em any mind
Step on the gas, pull out to pass, and leave 'em far behind

I like to drive at 105, its just how fast i got to go
I got the gears and i got the motor, aint no reason to go slow
And i like the speed i like the motion, I like the rockin machine
I like to drive at 105, better hurry up if you wanna catch me

C
You shouldnt ought to done it honey, you shouldnt ought to run around
G G7 G G7 G G7 G G7
But two cant be on the highway darlin, and I'm the one thats out there now

I like to drive at 105, its just how fast i got to go
I got the gears and i got the motor, aint no reason to go slow
And i like the speed i like the motion, I like the rockin machine
I like to drive at 105, better hurry up if you wanna catch me
